ODOP:Spring is available as a white-label (re-branded) solution for spring manufacturers, educational engineering institutions and beyond. External organizations can host the design software on their web servers and allow free use as a powerful coil spring calculator by the general public.

The ODOP software, including each of the available spring design types, is maintained as a project on GitHub. The online help is available in the form of GitHub Pages. The app is hosted by Heroku.

The design library is a MySQL database hosted by Heroku partner JawsDB using Amazon Web Services (AWS).

The ODOP:Spring design software is written in the JavaScript language and uses multiple supporting frameworks, including Express, React, Redux and React Bootstrap.

The development environment used to create the ODOP software leverages the Eclipse IDE (integrated development environment) and the Node.js JavaScript run-time environment.

Identity solutions (user account features) are provided by Okta.
